Snæfellsnes Peninsula and the door to the Center of the Earth

The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is also known as “the Jules Verne’s Peninsula” and it is so named because the renowned French writer placed here his Journeys to the Center of the Earth.

Located in the western region of Iceland, it is almost a miniature version of the island. In addition to its famous Snæfellsnjökull glacier, the traveler can find astonishing black sand beaches, amazing cliffs, dramatic mountains, and outstanding volcanic craters.

During this tour, we will also see the Djúpalónssandur beach and the famous Kirkjufell mountain (featured in the TV show 'Game of Thrones').

If you want to discover Iceland in a calm and easy-going trip and avoid the hassle of big groups, this is your tour.
