The tour begins with an introduction to the glacier via a short hike through the valley toward the ice. Upon reaching the ice you will be shown how to correctly strap crampons onto your boots. The ice adventure begins with hiking across the glacier to a suitable area to cover the techniques and instruction on how to ice climb efficiently. You will have the opportunity to practice ice climbing and refine your technique so you can progress throughout the day on different climbing locations. Our ice climbing trips are flexible and we will tailor the trip to suit your individual style.
